Le Domaine de Saint Loup

Maxime owns barely 0.42ha of vineyards planted with Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay and Savagnin. His cellar is located in the desolate mountains of the Doubs at an altitude of 580m. The small mountain vineyard plots are completely isolated from the outside world. His purely natural, small scale, almost maniacal approach results in flawless mineral wines.

Through his critical eye, his tendency to question everything and vast knowledge of agriculture, his wines approach perfection. Only a few barrels are bottled manually each year without any hint of sulphur. He just makes it for pleasure.
